I went into contract while the Covid-19 crisis was rising. I have never met someone so strong to their word especially in the banking field. I have had friends who have closed on properties with other lenders and have had crazy last minute changes. But I was fortunate to have an amazing experience. Even though a pandemic was going on, Danny delivered exactly what he had promised and within an accurate time range. I was shocked and very happy. For the past 19 years, Ward Melville High School alum Danny Pisani has been educating New Yorkers about the mortgage industry, walking them through every step of the process, from the initial application to approval. Many of his clients are fellow Long Islanders, as well as New York City residents from all five boroughs.
Danny Pisani lives his life by a guiding principle: do the right thing. The executive vice president and director of sales for Contour Mortgage – voted best mortgage company on Long Island -- employs this philosophy not only in his professional life, but also in his personal.
He attended SUNY Plattsburgh and served our country in the USMC before getting involved in the mortgage industry. He began his career in San Diego before joining Contour Mortgage.
The best part of the job, he said, is “watching families get the keys to their new home.”
And since Contour Mortgage helps clients close deals within only three to four weeks, Pisani sees first-hand the level of support each receives.
Aside from his professional work, Pisani, who counts his children Seth, 17, and Adriana, 9, as his inspiration, is very involved in giving back. Adriana was the first child ever to be honored in the top 50 Power Woman of Long Island in 2022 and is the Youth Ambassador for Contour Cares. He volunteers regularly, saying, “I think everyone should be doing things for people in need. People don’t realize how fortunate they are.” Among the organizations Pisani gives back to are Make-A-Wish; the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and more. He serves on the Board of Pink Tie and is an honorary Vice-Chairman for TOYS for TOTS. He is also a Master Mason and does the Polar Bear Plunge. Philanthropist of the Year 2020. "The A List" 2021. Recognized by the Long Island Press in the "Top Real Estate Power Players" for 2023. Honored in the “Power List" for Long Island 2023.
